Still January 30th in Canada!

...and I have completed my January stitchery.  Like a few others, I haven't decided what to do with it so I will keep on pondering!

I really enjoyed doing this one.  I used a frixon pen for the first time and I liked how the ironing took out the leftover lines.  I even put it in the cold but the lines did not reappear.  Does anyone wlse use the frixon pens?

I made a decision for my background fabrics...blues....light blues with "petite" designs:
I need to get some light pinks but I have enough for starters, from my stash!  I hope to get started this week-end!

I am really enjoying all the posts! It is neat to see the choices and sharing!

Well Done Peggy- it looks like you have enough to start with - you wont need the other backgrounds for a while,,,happy cutting and appliqueing!

Even the Aussies have 10 hours left - who's counting??

I am no help on the frixon pens........good to see the stitchery done but leave it too long or it will continue to be a UFO instead a great finished project........
Yes I am also loving seeing everyones choices.......

and I meant to add - the only drawback with those pens is if you want to iron on some backing before you sew - you can only iton outside the drawings!
otherwise they are great.
